2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
EXPERIENCE: REST / REJUVINATION / RE-CONNECTIONS
Since our last retreat in 2019 we've all been navigating what it is like living and working during a global pandemic. We've endured much, learned much, yet I am sure like me we've gotten a little tired. We want to remember to follow Christ and "Let your Faith be bigger than your Fear"
I am excited to invite you to rejoin with women from the ABA for a time of rest, fun and connection. Our theme this year, "Faith Over Fear" and it is an invitation to turn our hearts towards God, to one another and to those who we may not have met yet.
The ABA Women's retreat is designed to be one of down-time, rest, fun and connection. Opportunities are offered for the women to connect with God and one another, to grow in friendship as well as in their relationship with Jesus. Camp Caroline sits in the beautiful foothills of Alberta and has an inviting facility with an indoor pool, hot-tub, full size gym and great sitting areas. You won’t be disappointed investing in this weekend away.
Come with an expectation to rest, have fun, and reconnect with God and others. Feel free to bring your favorite games and snacks, and any winter outerwear you may require* (if you plan to brave the cold). If you want to use the gymnasium, appropriate non marking footwear is required, plus a sense of humor and a willingness to compete. If you’re planning on playing water sports or doing laps, or relaxing in the hot tub, bring your swimwear and towel. Additional things to bring: Your Bible, notebook or journal and a desire to spend time in God’s word, in worship, in prayer and reflection.
Thank you for considering registering for the 2022 ABA Women's Retreat. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hello - I’m Jalene!
I am married to my high-school sweetheart, am a mama to two beautiful girls, and have more dreams than I have time for.
I am a lover of words and melodies and when I have a guitar or pen in my hand the world gets quiet and I can see everything a bit more clearly.
In my spare moments, you can find me penning words of hope, making music, and sipping coffee with other women, listening to and journeying alongside others in their walks with Jesus. I am honored to be able to lead you into worshiping the God who invites us to put our faith fully in Him. May the songs that we lift up to our Father this weekend reorient our hearts to His love and kindness towards us!
