A ministry sabbatical has the potential to be life-transforming and ministry-renewing if careful planning takes place. Over the course of several sessions, this workshop will cover the theology of rest and offer a planning framework for a successful sabbatical. Past attendees have found it to be very helpful in planning for a sabbatical that is transformational for both the pastor and their church.

Church board members are welcome and have found this to be beneficial.

Topics include:

  • Biblical Foundations: Theology of Rest
  • Overview of the Phases of Sabbatical
  • General Principles of Renewal
  • Testimonials and Q&A with those who have experienced a sabbatical
